I’m just hoping things get more hyper-localized. Me and the people up in rural Northern California might not agree on much, but I believe we can find some common ground given we share space, resources, and some semblance of culture. We visit each other, we share family friends, that sort of thing. We can talk to each other. West Virginia? South Carolina? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Other than a silly flag. This place is just too big, too diverse, and has major, major historical issues that, frankly, cannot be fixed.
Lower Federal taxes, and raise my State taxes. Let us go at it alone.
