Fucking California, with no notice, divided the State into 5 regions today. We’re looking at full lockdown (us in a few weeks, the rest of the State within days) which is utterly pointless and impossible to enforce. Shutdown will be measured by ICU capacity. I get that last bit, but to just throw any county authority over anything out the window is totally out of bounds and unprecedented since this all kicked off.
I promise, some counties will just simply stop reporting. Utter shambles and frankly embarrassing.
I’ve been saying this for weeks. People have given up and they don’t care who dies unless it directly affects them. Which for most people, it won’t.
Also, thanks to all the Thankgiving gatherers. Hope you had fun. This is because of you.
