Reviewing results and this one dumb bint has been tested 5 times in the past 5 days all at different locations. All negative.

She can fucking relax. I’m putting in her medical record to refuse her testing for a few days. Enjoy your Christmas, dear. All is okay.

Notice nobody said Scientists > Trisco.

Because they couldn’t.

All this money spent on a vaccine and research when all a person with Covid needs to do is listen to Musak 38 times on repeat to get rid of it.

Reading that the Astra Zeneca vaccine has 95% efficiency (2 doses) according to new data being released today… bloody great news of true

Jules72 Spoke to the father in law the other day, he has all day to read about these types of things. Basically he said he would be over the moon with the Pfizer vaccine, but apprehensive if he got the Oxford which most people will get. Apparently they Pfizer and Moderna are based on a completely different method for immunisation, relying on the latest biomedical science rather than the traditional way of giving you a small dose of the virus and letting you build up a resistance.

Sounds like AZ have come out fighting now though as perhaps their share price may drop!

Hursty yeah based on what you know so far, the Pfizer vaccine over AZ is a no brainer.. unless these results are accurate - that’s a game changer and really good news for the UK

On the flip-side, a potential benefit of the AZ vaccine which I’ve seen speculated upon is that actually because it is based on the old technology then it could be less likely there’ll be unforeseen long-term side effects appearing from it in the future.

While the Pfizer vaccine based on the new MRNA tech has been shown pretty safe from short-term side effects, due to the timescales there’s still a slim chance of something appearing a bit further down the line. Supposedly it’s not unheard of for some side effects from vaccines to not become apparent until 1-2 years after the event.

…Gets on the phone to his doctor…
