Jules72 Spoke to the father in law the other day, he has all day to read about these types of things. Basically he said he would be over the moon with the Pfizer vaccine, but apprehensive if he got the Oxford which most people will get. Apparently they Pfizer and Moderna are based on a completely different method for immunisation, relying on the latest biomedical science rather than the traditional way of giving you a small dose of the virus and letting you build up a resistance.
Sounds like AZ have come out fighting now though as perhaps their share price may drop!
Hursty yeah based on what you know so far, the Pfizer vaccine over AZ is a no brainer.. unless these results are accurate - that’s a game changer and really good news for the UK

On the flip-side, a potential benefit of the AZ vaccine which I’ve seen speculated upon is that actually because it is based on the old technology then it could be less likely there’ll be unforeseen long-term side effects appearing from it in the future.
While the Pfizer vaccine based on the new MRNA tech has been shown pretty safe from short-term side effects, due to the timescales there’s still a slim chance of something appearing a bit further down the line. Supposedly it’s not unheard of for some side effects from vaccines to not become apparent until 1-2 years after the event.
benson I laughed when I read that article last month.
Their athletes never take drugs either.
Todays news is its approved for use by people 60 and over? Wtf???

…Gets on the phone to his doctor…
No surprises to read the story about the rich cunts fleeing quarantine in the Swiss Alps. Absolute cretins.
The hotels must have their details, so they should be forwarded to the authorities for retribution but it will never happen as they are too rich no doubt.
Horrible specimens, their financial status is irrelevant though to be fair
Mad_Cyril their financial status is irrelevant though to be fair
Well, it kind of is relevant, because it allows them to embarrass us abroad on a massive scale, rather than just having a lockdown-busting plague party on a council estate (which is what this type, but with no money, will be doing)
They literally couldn’t do this, if they weren’t rich. It’s like saying a gun didn’t matter in an armed robbery.
Calling them out as both rich and ignorant smacks a bit of whinging (the article, not Hursty).
In both the example in the paper, and yours, the overriding factor here is being a selfish cunt.
One can do that with, or without money.
Mad_Cyril Agree.
Money allows the cuntery to be exhibited on a grander scale.
I reckon CJ and Smallman would definitely be part of something like this, if they had got an invite.
bosstrabs Smallman would definitely be part of something like this, if they had got an invite.
Absolutely!
The hotels are (also) the cunts here for staying open and taking their money. Obviously people aren’t going to put up with being trapped in a hotel room for two weeks.
I wouldn’t contemplate overseas travel in this environment because I wouldn’t be able to relax under the threat of major inconvenience and the thought of sharing oxygen onboard a flight.
zackster Thanks Zack, be fucked without you brother 👍
alistair Sorry to hear alistair! Fingers crossed there’s no long symptoms. 🤞🏼
I think it’s worse when ‘the rich’ behave appallingly.
There’s a sense of entitlement that goes with it that is nauseous beyond belief.
