I’m not sure I’m understanding the question. The PCR tests are the standard around here. Antigen (rapid) tests are used but if those come up positive we do a PCR to be sure. We never rely on antigen/rapid for quarantine or case investigation. PCR has proven reliable as far as I know. It’s just costly (we’re paying upwards of $130 per test - free to the patient), time consuming (we try for 24 hours but it can be upwards of 72 depending on lab back-up), and invasive (it’s not fun to be assaulted with a Q-tip). Antigen might be useful for those with a high viral load but PCR is our SOP.

Yeah Cleveland is a dump. Had an ex who went to Oberlin, not far from ’land, and enjoyed my time there. But wowsers I couldn’t imagine living in northern Ohio. Cincinnati sucks too. Good heroin, I suppose, if that’s your thing.

My wife was a bearcat before injuring herself and losing her scholarship. Thanks to years of therapy she has realized that she probably hurt herself deliberately because she hated it there so much. Ohio is atrocious.

Let’s not even get started on their idea of “food.” Skyline Chili is the worst thing I have ever eaten. Disgusting cinnamon-heavy diarrhea thrown on top of spaghetti and if that wasn’t enough let’s throw a mountain of processed cheese on top. Oxycontin was a blessing. The less Ohio’ians the better.

Ballerina! My longest relationship was with a ballerina. 5 years. Terrible feet but great in the sack. When we split I moved in with my best friend. Within a week he moved out and moved in with her. They’d been at it for a bit! The scumbag! It absolutely crushed me at the time. I posted about it on GU and Bacchus had nice things to say. Good times.

Nah. They ended up getting married and had two kids before a really bad divorce. He’s a shithead but I don’t really hold any ill will towards her. I was a garbage partner - cheated on her and whatnot - so I got what I deserved.
