I would have thought the storage temperature of AsrtraZeneca’s vaccine which can just be stored in 2-6 degrees i.e. a normal fridge as opposed to Pfizer which requires -80 degrees would make the choice a nobrainer. Distribution costs are surely vastly cheaper and it is far easier and quicker to deploy from pretty much anywhere where you can put staff to administer it. Isn’t it 5 times cheaper than the Pfizer vaccine too?

My criticism was levelled at the likes of Macron who cast uninformed aspersions and downright dangerous lies about the efficacy of the OA vaccine.

It’s amazing the extent to which anyone right of centre rattle some peoples cages. It’s the point he’s making that matters.

alistair you’ve raised some fair points here - in Germany there are hundreds-of-thousands of doses of the AZ vaccine sitting around unused due to the negative publicity and misunderstanding of its efficacy causing people to refuse it.

Yeah this has been a cunt of a lockdown. The weather hasn’t helped, but things are looking better with spring on the horizon, plus a date for schools reopening and a road map for getting out.

I actually like working from home but it’s not great with a 6 and 3 year old under your feet all day
