LT42 I think your take on this is misguided mate. The EU’s dispute is a contractual one with AZ and their Indian supply. Half of the EU’s stock has gone off anyway because the already-sceptical population have been told it’s dangerous!

Seems the EU regulator has said its now safe and rollouts have resumed with the disclaimer that clots can be caused in rare cases. I reckon there’s a massive insurance hand involved and it’s a storm in a tea cup but who knows, there hasn’t been adequate time put into research for all of these vaccines as we’ve spoken about on here before..

Old-Dutch Like all vaccines a small percentage of people will succumb to side effects unfortunately, I think that would be the sensible way to look at it, and in every situation these things should be studied just in case. However, the idea that it was done to spite the UK and AZ is one spouted by absolute mouth breathing anti-EU twats.

The Italian Health Minister has already admitted it is a political issue with the AZ vaccine

You can Google UK Govt blocking Oxford deal with Merck for a start, Dave. Also Google Trump admin begins blocking of vaccine exports. Have fun. İ don’t save links on the pretense you’ll be grilling me 6 months into the future but I know what I’ve read.

Whatever way you want to look at it if you take a coordinated approach to destroy public confidence in a vaccine during a pandemic for political purposes when you don’t have sufficient supply of alternative vaccines it’s beyond reckless at best.
