I don’t disagree with you. My point is that this runs counter to the current western game plan. If we are going to test, we should test everyone. Test or Vax is what I think is completely pointless, which I think the Dutch situation proves.

bosstrabs Sorry I can’t go with this. It’s pushing against the reasonable limits of personal liberty now IMO. Whether you take the vaccination or not needs to be a matter of people’s personal choice.

However, this I strongly disagree with. COVID is the most transmittable virus of all fucking time. Not to mention the fact that there is literally nothing you have less say in than what you put into your body. We all have enough Roundup in our systems to burn our names into the grass with our piss. I get that the goverment can’t force you to get a jab, however the blessed free market can by saying “no vax no fun.” Let the loonies sit at home and can their green beans if they don’t like it.

now i generally agree with you, but does a private business requiring it’s patrons to be vaccinated violate that premise? you can choose to not spend your money there (in the vast majority of cases). seems to me to be one instance where the market would actually make a decision. maybe i’m wrong, i’m not sure to be honest.

bosstrabs they’re more likely to catch it and transmit it to others…. So yes, now that we are not going to achieve herd immunity (because vaccines don’t have high enough efficacy against actual infection), the unvaccinated are a risk to others… having said that, with this strain it would be no bad thing if you expose yourself to it to boost your immunity

bosstrabs it’s obvious Dave… the likelihood of spreading covid is proportional to the viral load emitted… a working vaccine either stops you getting it in the first place or limits illness.. that leads to lower viral load emission
