That’s absolutely top drawer, Millsy. Lol
The General Covid19 Thread
Millsy vaccine made me magnetic
Living in the US must be like a Truman Show never ending loop of being stuck in a Daily Sport narrative
Absolutely astounded by this
Problem is there really isn’t a “US”. We’re united by name only. I think Zack and I live in somewhat similar circumstances - being in or adjacent to urban areas. But you go 100 miles in any direction and you might as well be in Siberia. We’re fine around here. Roughly 80 cases a day. <1 deaths per day. Ironically, given other posts in this thread earlier, our lowest vaccination rates are now in Pacific Heights and Cow Hollow - the two most lily white and Tony districts in the City.
jonattonyeah I think Zack and I live in somewhat similar circumstances - being in or adjacent to urban areas. But you go 100 miles in any direction and you might as well be in Siberia.
Yeah that is exactly right. The area between eastern and western pa is like a different planet.
In other news, its being speculated that most of the New England states have reached herd immunity thru vaccination and infection.
jonattonyeah that’s the power of vaccines. we have 4M people in this province, 15-30 deaths a day the last few weeks. the northern half of the province, mostly rural and a few small towns, had a positivity rate of 26% on tuesday or wednesday. these stupid, in-bred rednecks think the vaccinated are spreading it to them.
Lucky around here in that we have a pretty “enlightened” populous (for lack of better phrasing). But we’ve all but given up with the 15% who are unvaccinated. Now going for prohibitive measures - no school, no bar, no restaurant, no airport, no work, no nothing. Your choice, sure. Choices have repercussions. Boom goes the dynamite.
Got boosted yesterday. Felt a bit groggy overnight and have a sore arm still but nothing major. Struggling to understand the ant-vaxxers. Hearing a lot of stories of people on ICU regretting their decision not to vaccinate.
benson what did you get Benson? AZ for the first two and Pfizer booster?
Pfizer x 3 for me. Sweet
What is the average efficacy timeframe for each vaccine now? I guess they have some good data to go off, is it around 6-12 months before a booster is required? What happens if you catch covid after having the vaccine, does that give you some protection for longer?
How can I get a booster?
Keen as mustard.
Don’t see anyone who’s not in the ‘vulnerable’ category, in healthcare, or under the age of 50 getting the booster jab. Not anytime soon anyway.
Pfizer x 2 plus the rona itself means I’m a free man and I’m going out the front door, with Jerry.
benson isn’t mixing them now supposed to have more efficacy?
Ed, aren’t you in an at-risk group for asthma? When did you get jabbed?
I am brother.
May 21st was when I had my second jab.

Ed told us he had his third booked in a while ago.
Possibly turned away for having too many minerals?
I’m the only person to vaccine the vaccine.
That doesn’t even make any sense but just run with it.
