Oakland got demolished last night. Been staying in The Town for a while now and it sounded like a war zone outside. Between the tear gas explosions and the firecrackers being thrown at the police. But all was okay. Until the early 20’s, white “Rage Against The Latrine”, males showed up. It is disgusting how the death of a poor Black fellow in Minnesota gets co-opted by Tyler Durden neckbeard anarchists from the suburbs. It is shameful that police violence against Black people becomes a proxy for their personal gripes and “over throw the system” nonsense. Oh, what? You think you’ll come out on top in a revolution? Laughable. I hate that Oakland has become a “Civil Disobedience Theme Park” for the rest of the Bay Area. They allow Oakland to be destroyed because nobody cares about Oakland. They allow Oakland to be destroyed because it is a containment zone for other cities. Nobody cares when you destroy a Walgreens in Oakland (way to stick it to BIG TOILETPAPER, Caleb). Why don’t you fucking retards go march on Palo Alto, sorry Shallow Alto, if you actually have a point. The only way violence has any sort of use is if it scares those in charge. All they’re doing in Oakland is dumping on a poor and minority majority blue collar and working class city. Walking around this morning and seeing the carnage was an embarrassment. Watching the videos of who was perpetuating it…there are not words. Sorry to rant but walking around my destroyed ’hood today, I am just sad. Not even about anything in particular. About it all.
