You can’t please them all, eh?

alistair Nah, I actually agree with some of it.

Especially that Oasis don’t have enough fast tunes, which is a shame when Headshrinker was a banger.

I also don’t really like how Noel slags off bands that are more interesting than Oasis constantly.

Blur, Franz Ferdinand, the 1975 aren’t consistently amazing bands but at least they bother to experiment occasionally or do something daring, yet Noel has called all of them ‘shite’ at various points (probably because he just doesn’t get them). I mean, if Radiohead were calling them shite then fair enough, but Noel hasn’t ever made work of the substance of Radiohead.

bosstrabs I am not looking to Oasis for experimentation, just a good time, as will the millions who try and buy tickets on Saturday. Price is just trying hard to be a contrarian.

Price is a pint sized Paul Morley

They could at least try a bit harder sometimes, though.

Instead of coming out with shite like ‘Magic Pie’.

bosstrabs Noel’s solo albums, although patchy have drawn from a fairly wide variety of musical influences. Some decent remixes in there too.

bosstrabs Oasis were a rock and roll band. Notwithstanding Radiohead, bands that try hard to experiment almost always sound worse for it. Arcade Fire, Foals, Strokes even bloody Coldplay. I’d rather listen to the first two albums when they sounded vital.

bosstrabs I still joined the ballot for tickets, mind.

An OLB and Bosstrabs meet up?

Ledging the bants in unbelievable clobber with the treacles hanging off our every word?

      Where do I sign?!

An eye melting vision of pastel and unwearable clearance trabs.
