If you think 150 quid for an Oasis ticket is bad, I just met up with one of the Finns I know after the summer.

He said he had been to see Coldplay in Finland, 200 Euros a ticket. Fucking Coldplay. I laughed my arse off.

Saw Oasis, Pulp, Blur, REM (Monster Tour), loads of bands around 94-95 and never remember it being more than 20 quid to see even big bands on arena tours.

To tie in with the Cream thread, when I started going to Cream around 97 it was always a tenner, or maybe 12.50 if it was a massive night like a birthday or had special guests.

Yes, it was, and I remember everyone freaking out about the millennium eve prices. I think Cream was similar.

We (me and uni mates) just ended up fucking it off on Millennium eve to have a house party, which ended up on the street at the stroke of midnight with neighbours coming out with bottles of champagne. Good times.

Then I think we did Sugar in Leamington Spa on the 2nd for our clubbing.
