Oasis
Dan it’s alright in there, tbe beers are hit and miss, which is a shame as some of it is brewed onsite so would hope they are better. Always thought the building is great for a decent pub/bar, but no one has managed to make the most of it. Sounds bad but it would have been a decent place for a brewdog to have a bar
RichM I’ve been a couple of times and the beer has always been great. Bit basic and populated by people that need a good scrub
The only time I’ve been to Chelmsford was to have a meeting with Jimpster’s wife in Acanteen.
Who’d have thunked it?!
RichM There was that period between late afternoon and 5ish where pubs had to close
In the boozer with my old man early 80s; table of full pints to see him and his mates through the gap when the bar closed (you were allowed to stay in the bar but the shutters were down), and the same for me in Coke and cheese and onion crisps. Boss Sunday.
Eating crisps whilst on the bugle is most uncouth
Jimpster’s Doris.
Sure it wasn’t her sister and did she throw in brunch?
Defo the wife.
A design agency I used to biz tranz at did all of Freerange’s artwork, hence the hook up / connection.
