alistair Nah, it’s easier than that, we just need the rich people to have a jot of conscience and not act like complete cunts. Unfortunately that’s not something they have been able to collectively do since the Enclosure Acts of 1604, but we live in hope! Looking forward to Liam on Newsnight espousing the benefits of trickle down economics any day now.

Amps, how would you allocate tickets to this event? Bearing in mind that underpricing them would cause an even greater shortage of tickets? (as more people would want them)

bosstrabs Bearing in mind that underpricing them would cause an even greater shortage of tickets? (as more people would want them)

I don’t know about other people but I wouldn’t even take an Oasis ticket if they were giving them away.

Actually, maybe I still would - but only to burn it in front of some gibbering Oasis fan who actually wanted one.

Dynamic pricing on concert tickets is a fucking disgrace. It’s obvious that hundreds of thousands of people will be trying to book tickets for big artists / bands as soon as they go on sale.

Old-Dutch And love the way they handled the pre-sale so they’d know how many people would be trying to buy tickets and adjust their model according. Cunts.

bosstrabs It absolutely is the case that with some airlines and agents the price can change between viewing the price and then actually checking out.

      That’s true, but :

      1) It’s rare,
      2) The price increase increments are unlikely to be the 150% increase that Oasis tickets were subject to, and
      3) I haven’t had to wait 6 hours to find out about the price increase.

bosstrabs A clearly stated, non dynamic price, that you can see before you get in the queue. Max of four / six tickets per transaction. Individual customers faces printed on each ticket. Which I think is essentially what Sheeran did, and is defo what Glasto do.

If the band want to to make more money, or make more tickets available to their loyal / important fans, then they play more gigs.

RichM those solid silver cans come out of the fridge colder than most too.

This is by no means at a Led Zep reunion level, but in what world did any of you think the tickets would be accessible and affordable? lol.

      • Amps replied to this.

rhouses nobody thought it would be cheap, but nobody thought it would be such a shit show either.

FYI, you couldn’t pay me to go, if want to see a Beatles cover band I’ll go the Cavern.

Rhouses needs his tickets to be accessible.

        For mobility scooters.

        Bang!

25-30 years ago all the touts bought Oasis tickets and sold them now ticketmaster have rebranded as the touts through dynamic pricing , either way your paying!

          Lads I’ve got one.
