If the band want to to make more money, or make more tickets available to their loyal / important fans, then they play more gigs.

Dynamic pricing on concert tickets is a fucking disgrace. It’s obvious that hundreds of thousands of people will be trying to book tickets for big artists / bands as soon as they go on sale.

bosstrabs It absolutely is the case that with some airlines and agents the price can change between viewing the price and then actually checking out.

That’s true, but :

1) It’s rare,
2) The price increase increments are unlikely to be the 150% increase that Oasis tickets were subject to, and
3) I haven’t had to wait 6 hours to find out about the price increase.
