Mad_Cyril ArchimedesQ I look at ableton 11 and can’t tell what the fuck I need. Assuming intro would let me do the above and edit mixes (splice two versions together to cover a fucked up mix and normalise/ enhance the sound). Just get lost in the overview !!!
303abuser I was initially excited that strymon released a bluesky plugin, then I saw they have it priced at $200 US. Let’s see how long it takes to go on sale, I can’t imagine they sell too many with the alternatives out there already.
303abuser Now this looks interesting. Moogerfooger vsts with “cv” panels to cross modulate. https://www.moogmusic.com/products/moogerfooger-effects-plug-ins
303abuser apyssjw For me it’s more the sound from these “pedals” and the ability to work them together. Given the cost of the hardware and how good the vsts sound, the price isn’t bad.
Morty-C-137 This is a great recourse to check the latest deals: https://musicsoftwaredeals.com/ Not advisable if you have trouble managing plugin-hoarding 😁
303abuser I’m sitting here watching videos of this big sky plugin and it sounds quite good. I’m not paying $200 for it, but if it goes on sale for 50-75% off, I’ll have a tough time saying no.
303abuser Morty-C-137 Not a lot for reverbs, just Blackhole, Modnetic/Diffuse, Little Plate, the arturia reverbs (intensity, plate, spring, and tape 201), Tails, Valhalla FreqEcho and Supermassive.
Morty-C-137 I must say that my need to add more individual FX plugins to my collection has mostly waned since getting Guitar Rig 6. It has excellent reverbs, delays, chorus, distortion, filters saturation etc etc
303abuser Morty-C-137 Check out the unfiltered audio stuff. They’re really creative and can be had for very reasonable prices (sometimes even free) through plugin alliance on their mega sales.
Morty-C-137 Haven’t tried (have I mentioned I have Guitar Rig 6? 😂). The ones I have are Dent, Indent and Instant Delay
