apyssjw I’ve actually been trying to have a ‘messier’ sound in some of my recent production - trying to humanise things a little more.

I think I’ve spent the better part of the last 7 or so years learning the “rules” and structure of how to make music and now I’m just starting to figure out how to break those rules in more interesting and creative ways. I used to worry way more about a lot of details (the grid, phrasing, timing) and I just don’t anymore. Recording long sections live is a good way to get out of that rigid format for me.

I also really like listening to and making music that works well on good headphones and messes with my head vs. aiming it at club djs, where simplicity and mono compatibility are far more important.

    = winning 👌

Unbroken1 Just caught it on Transitions. Superb track and production.

Mad_Cyril My thought exactly. Good music for old people lol.

303abuser I’ve seen the same with every album, which sucks because I feel like the end of my albums are always the best tracks. To be expected in a low-attention span environment I guess.

On first listen - closing track is definitely my fav.

apyssjw Thanks for checking it out, that’s my favorite one on the album too.

Here’s the new album with Essentia Sound. It starts in black and white and ends up in colour. Or at least that’s how I hear it.

            303abuser …nice, will have a listen.

Did you ever hear the podcast about the guy that lent Moby his blues CD? Think I’ve mentioned it on here before, hilarious story:

Unbroken1 I haven’t heard that, I’ll check it out. Thanks for giving the new album a listen too.

That story is pretty funny, the podcast is a bit of a nightmare though lol.

303abuser Finally got around to listening to it this morning. A very enjoyable way to ease the day in at work. Probably my favourite of the 3. Is this the final in the collab?
