I am trying to reduce the amount of plugins with my new set up, so do you recommend any of these to install?

Henry the roughrider compressor is the only one i’ve tried with ableton (i have their 4 app bundle with dubstation for ios) and it was decent. i’m probably just going to try the creative stuff (reverbs, delays) and see what they’re like.

Cheers. I thought it best to ask the resident board plugin master before realising I have created a disaster with too many installs. 😃
Had a quick look at some YouTubes. Yeah, the Roughrider looks good. Will probably avoid the synths, as I don’t need another soft synth in my life right now. Could do with another delay though, especially since NI still haven’t got the arses in gear with the M1 migration.

Henry lol the addiction is real. i think rc 20 is the last tape plugin i’m buying, i have 8 now i think. 🤣

and that was my thought too, you can’t have too many creative plugins. even if you don’t use them all the time, if they’re good, there’s always a place for them. i’m so happy they updated modnetic and diffuse to m1, i was worried because i use them on every project. it’s amazing companies like NI and soundtoys haven’t upgraded their products yet.

It’s a paid product, but AudioDamage
Dubstation is by far the most useful delay plugin I have and I use it all the time.

loopdokter it’s free now and it is good. it duplicates modnetic for me, but i use it as an ipad return for my hardware setup.

Unfortunately Dubstation only works through Rosetta. Dubstation 2 looks the business though, and is probably worth $25.

303abuser Cheers. Voice is through the Speak Pocket Operator I mentioned before. Acid lines are from the D16 Phoscyon. Was made well before I got the SSL emulation so its not on it.

arturia’s new granular fx plugin looks really good, especially if you can get it for $29. i’m all over this one.

Just when I thought I didn’t need another granulator in my life….

They are also bundling it in free with the Fx Collection 2 for €119 from €399. I am very tempted by this, especially as I have very few Fx and only those bundled with Ableton/NI.

Henry first, fragments is so good. it’s a bit like silo, but more rhythmic and it seems to be a bit more immediate. everything i put it on sounds good, i see it on a return for pretty much everything i make.

i think the fx bundle is good value too. i use the compressors and the space echo a lot, along with the spring reverb. pretty happy with all of their free updates, so i feel like i’m giving my money to a decent company.
