Henry he knows the guy who owns Behringer back from his days in Berlin and is a bastard nobody should ever buy their stuff.

Uli Behringer is absolutely supposed to be a plonker. The product lines are supposed to be variable in quality and you can form your own view on pushing out copies of other companies old IP. I have their SH101 copy and it sounds mega. I would never in a millions years spend a grand on an authentic version.

Henry The Push is great for controlling stuff in Ableton, but is absolutely shite for sequencing.

I have mine on my desk but totally agree with you on the push 2 pads just not feeling great. I only really have it up as I don’t want a midi keyboard taking up more desk space so I have it to tap in one shots etc. I have midi keyboards away from my desk which I play, but I’ve been drawing in more and more recently - possibly because the midi keyboards aren’t easily in reach. I don’t think I’d buy another iteration of it - the push 3’s are eye wateringly expensive so it’s not something I’d consider on that ground alone at the moment.

apyssjw Yeah, the Push 2 pads are awful. I honestly thought my model was faulty because they felt so shite. One of the reasons I didn’t go for the Push 3.

Lots of goodies half price over at pluginboutique.com. Wanted to buy Diva last year but they didn’t reduce it for Black Friday. Just upgraded to Omnisphere 3, so probably don’t need another soft synth but tempting all the same.

I tried playing the tune below today and it was very difficult to mix in or out of. It’s a vinyl rip as it was a vinyl only release. I play a lot of vinyl rips and have never had the same level of issues as I had with this.

I figured there was something wrong with the timing of the track, so figured i would just warp it, but even warping it is a complete shambles. I think I’m good at warping tunes but I can’t figure out what is going wrong with this one.
It is like the quarter beats are slipping and Live doesn’t seem to pick that up when it does the warp.

Could anyone take a look at it and see what is going wrong? If you’re up for the challenge, I’ll ping the tune to you.

whatever Cool tune. The online versions I’m seeing sound like the vinyl is warped as the overall 4/4 beat is all over the place?

Yeah, I looked around for different versions, and as you say, the online versions are messed up. Rekordbox and MiK both say that it is 112 BPM but Damo worked out that the BPM is actually 122.5, which is why it was so difficult to warp. It still drifts though.

Morty-C-137 I keep wondering if they’re going to release a new or updated set of plugins because these have been around for so long, but they still sound great. Hopefully they keep doing space blender type fx, can’t believe they gave that away for free too.

Unbroken1 It really is. Another great delay freebie is from PSP: Stepdelay. Though that is only tape style delay but does offer a fee more controls over the sound than EchoBoy Jr.

303abuser I wouldn’t mind them updating the saturation algo’s in all their plugins to more modern standards though. Some sound brittle and rich in aliasing.
