Funny you / Henry should talk of deadlines. This track, and probably all mine, are case studies in the absence of deadlines. I probably started the original idea over 10 years ago, and, like the hundreds of unfinished ideas on the harddrive, have tinkered with it on and off since. It’s also been '‘finished’ and masted for over 18 months. I’d probably mix if differently even now, I’m conscious of a little lack presence in the mid / upper range in a lot of my historic mixes - but I think it still works.
