Henry i’m pretty happy with it so far. i actually didn’t do a clean install, i basically migrated my other mini and then deleted all the software/files i didn’t need. i’ve been running live 10 through rosetta with almost no stability issues.
the only problem of note is that if i’m using the digitakt as an audio interface, it randomly freezes and i have to restart the dt. sometimes it’ll happen multiple times a day, then not for weeks. don’t know what causes it, but it’s not an issue that will cause me to lose work, so it doesn’t bother me too much. i’m of the same opinion for live 11, i’m not touching it until it’s out of beta and the reviews are mostly positive.
performance-wise, i’m happy with the expectation that when i’m running everything natively, that’s where the mind blowing hardware will really show up. i’ve never paid much attention to vst2 vs. vst3, but i think vst3s run much more efficiently. overall, i’m glad i made the jump, especially with better performance promised down the road.
