Henry The learning curve is not that bad. I think the Elektron mythology comes from the complexity of the octatrack, but these new boxes are easier. You have to put the time in, but they’re pretty immediate too. And overbridge, despite all the internet complaining, has been phenomenal for me. Never had a reliability issue and it basically allows for individual tracks out (although you do have to record each track out individually if you want the hardware fx as they’re send, not insert).
I’m putting a bunch of gear up for sale today to fund this one. It’ll simplify my setup and workflow, with the Digitakt for sampling, Syntakt for drums/chords, A4 for everything, and the dfam for percs/bass.
