alistair Very true, but the Blind Test episodes also give the DJs a chance to show off their knowledge of music which the viewers are, for the most part, unlikely to have ever heard before and who might be compelled to seek them out afterwards.
Again, SP’s vids get ~ 2k viewers.
These vids get ~ 50k-150k viewers.
A lot of those guys probably haven’t had that kind of exposure/coverage in decades.
The vids are also just a fun challenge to have a go at.
