There’s no way smalls will enjoy Dark.
Netflix
Enjoyed that. You said it was too short and had read some unfavorable reviews so wasn’t too sure, but thought it was a solid 3-whatever hours. The hi-jinx the FBI got into in order to bug the various places was amazing.
All three series of the fall coming to netflix in August. Well worth a watch!
Matt what is it about?
Along_the_Wire I was probably stoned when watching it, so my memory of it is a bit hazy, this is the IMDB description though.
A psychological thriller that examines the lives of two hunters. One is a serial killer who stalks his victims in and around Belfast and the other is a talented Detective Superintendent from the MET who is brought in to catch him.
Wally I think I didn’t manage my expectations well enough. Don’t get me wrong, it was brilliant and loved the twist at the end, but just expected a wee bit more from all the excitement on here. Still, easily the best tele I’ve seen for a long, long time and absolutely loved it. Watched the first 15 minutes of season 3 and that was a cracker too. The missus fell asleep and bollocked me for trying to watch more.
Just finished rewatching “Unorthodox”. It was kinda eye opening to me to see what’s expected of women in the Hasidic Jewish community of New York and people’s attitudes towards them. Loved it just as much the second time through.
Along_the_Wire Having said all that, season 3 is blinding and wasn’t expecting that at all
I watched episode one, series one of the sopranos last night. For the first time. Looking forward to making my way through this.

I still haven’t seen it either or the Wire.
Jesus wept, DB, that’s some admission.
Missus has not seen Sopranos either. We’ve decided to get to that after summer. I can’t fucking wait, only seen it once, when it originally aired in Finland.
Along_the_Wire
I know. I keep hoping they will appear on Netflix or Amazon so i can get stuck in…Scones.
Dubman They’re cheap as chips online, Snorky.
Fear City was a bit anti-climactic. Nothing new, all story threads that have been done a million times. Making Guiliani out to be some kind of caped crusader was a joke considering he’s part of organised crime right now. Did like the rustic footage of 70s NYC though.
Watched Screwball last night, pretty funny documentary about steroids in Baseball. Alex Rodriguez is a properly nefarious character.
