The Long Walk is easily the best of King’s Bachman-novels. Many people have tried to turn it into a movie, and it’s never gotten anywhere. It’s not hard to see why if you read it.

Homegrove Have you seen the Pet Cemetary remake? It’s considerable worse than the first which is really quite an achievement.

Along_the_Wire haven’t seen either. The first one is considered a classic in horror-circles though. Missus bought the remake, and I said she’s welcome to watch it on her own. She did and did indeed say it sucked.

Wally I’ve mentioned many times that I was a King fan and that my favourite of his is the Bachman Book ‘Thinner’. Ignorance is not a defence in almost any situation.

Stephen King did another fan podcast interview.

Sounds like his next book is quite similar to the one I’m reading now, John Connolly’s The Book of Lost Things. Boy goes to a fairytale-land, reimanenigs of classic fairy tales happen. Connolly’s book has so far the seven dwarfs as communists serving an unpleasant, corpulant Snow White, and a gay Prince Charming.

Just finished A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles which was incredible, a true modern classic

Just started The Dark Hours by Michael Connelly which seems up to his usual standard so far.
