More anxiety inducing action from King, this time with a ‘fuck the system’ flavour. Nothing like the film, but good fun all the same.

Amps Richard Bachman wrote that one. They’re my favourite set of books he wrote - Thinner is a belter. Hoped for better from the film to be honest, but they’re both excellent in isolation I suppose
Edgar Wright is trying to remake the movie. Can’t imagine his version would have the book-ending either. 😂

The Long Walk is easily the best of King’s Bachman-novels. Many people have tried to turn it into a movie, and it’s never gotten anywhere. It’s not hard to see why if you read it.

Homegrove Have you seen the Pet Cemetary remake? It’s considerable worse than the first which is really quite an achievement.

Along_the_Wire haven’t seen either. The first one is considered a classic in horror-circles though. Missus bought the remake, and I said she’s welcome to watch it on her own. She did and did indeed say it sucked.

Wally I’ve mentioned many times that I was a King fan and that my favourite of his is the Bachman Book ‘Thinner’. Ignorance is not a defence in almost any situation.
