Got a bottle of this for my 40th and it is lovely stuff:
Angostura 1919 ((old bottling) is fantastic neat and not too expensive.
mono-stereo I love it, again in the right context. Wouldn’t drink it casually as such, pretty powerful tasting stuff.
Great with a bleak, wintery setting and a thick, potentially roll necked woollen jumper, pondering the mysteries of life, and of lives and loves lost.
I visited the distillery on Skye in 2016.
I would drink nothing but Lagavulin 16, but it’s nearly 90 € a bottle here.

Seeing yesterday an old alcoholic taking sips of a plastic bottle of vodka in the bus really helped. Bought a bottle of combucha to drink tonight while enjoying the Junction-stream though, so not sure how well it’s actually going.
