Whilst he’s far from a board favourite, I’m a big fan of Nick Warren - esp his studio mixes. This recent Transitions guest mix is him in great form. Forget your preconceptions and give the power prog a spin!

I remember once reading somewhere that Warren had only improved over the years due, mainly, to modern-day tech - which is a fairly bad indictment of someone’s skills.

Echo In the early days he was very poor at mixing. No thought went into any of his transitions. Just get to the next track ASAP.
Echo Go and have a listen to his early GUs (one of the few actual live recordings) then give your head a fucking wobble, son.
