Just watched The Batman: 4/10. Awful film. Wasted a great cast too. Bring back the Snyder one, imo.

The Batman; i really enjoyed it. 8/10

zackster it’s dark and gritty, like the Batman from the comics, the Snyderverse Batman is a typical superhero.

    Definitely the most comicbook-Batman. The car chase scene was pretty awesome at home too.

    The superhero nerd in me makes me want to say that Scott Snyder is one of the greatest Batman storytellers in comics, the OG Snyder.

    So let’s refer to the movie one as just shit.

    For a second I thought Zackster was right about something for once, had me confused.

    Ben Affleck is the best Batman of the modern era. This is not a troll nor is it a windup.

        Dan yes, the last episode was excellent

          Dan Its disappointing – the first episode was absolutely outstanding, since its moved t’egypt its just got dull. Hope the last couple of episodes bring it back to London and Blade makes an appearance

                Dan Yes. Ep 3 was not quite as good as the first two (mainly because Steven wasn’t in it that much) but ep4 was great. The last 10 minutes was amazing.

                  Episode 3 was dull, ep 4 was great, the Egypt-stuff included. Went into full horror for a minute there, which I did not expect from a Marvel-show.

                  No but im hoping hes on his way – the new film is rumoured to be set in London in part so I was just putting 2 and 2 together

                            Have to say this trailer is whetting the appetite. Starts end of May

                            LT42 he absolutely is/was. No one has done a better job with the Bruce Wayne role. Especially RP he played him live a virgin dork. Will go a step further as Jeremy Irons is also the best Alfred.

                              The hangar in the new death star when the emperor arrives is probably my favorite matte painting scene ever. So much detail.

                                I hated the fact they used ROTJ leftovers for the re-rekease of Empire. It looked total out of place and Vader’s voice doesn’t sound like James Earl Jones.

                                Liked Moon Knight least of all the MCU shows so far on Disney+, but the acting was outstanding. Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke and Maya Calamawy were all excellent in their multiple characters, and the way they switched from one to another.

                                Really enjoyed Moon Knight but Oscar Isaac carried the hell out of it. I think one of the problems with it is that the Moon Knight just isn’t that interesting and doesn’t get that much screen time. (I think he’s supposed to be ultra violent in the comics which got totally removed for the show?). Steven Grant was way more interesting.

                                After episode 1 you lot were wanking into each other’s mouths and shouting Moon Knight! when you came. What happened?

                                  Millsy It was shite, like all the other drivel Hollywood churns out these days.

                                    Gave up after last week’s episode.
