  • Lexicon Avenue / Forensic Records (Chris Scott)

A local hero from my home town Chris Scott was partnered with Shindig’s Scott Bradford back in the day and they ran the label Forensic Records. He was also one of the guys behind Lexicon Avenue and Echomen.

There has been a buzz this last month about the label returning, and Chris Scott has unexpectedly put a new mix up today with PFG.

It has some nice promos and a new remix of Mooncat ft Ferank - What Was Said (Marcelo Vasami 2021 Remix)

Enjoy.

Played there over the weekend on vinyl. Still a good tune.

Dan This is class Dan. I don’t think I’ve actually heard it yet it has a really familiar sound.

Met Chris once in an afterparty in Liverpool after seeing Lexicon Avenue and Sander Kleinenberg at the Masque.

Steve Parry played the afterparty and had a good chat with Chris who is a top, top bloke. Lexicon Avenue and all of the other guises he worked under at the time were knocking out belters left right and centre.

    Good times

Along_the_Wire Last time I dug my decks out for a mess about, this was the first tune I picked up! One of my all-time faves also!

Lexicon Avenue are playing in our new venue this Autumn, and I’ve been learning a little bit about the basics of video editing - so here’s a look around our new little home:

Great guys. Scott Bradford was an amazing (warm up) DJ. Always used to build his sets up and get shindig going off it before the headliner came on.

Wally He’s a legend and a lovely bloke. Keeps claiming he’s retired but no one will let him.

In this case, Lexicon Avenue was 3 of them (scott bradford, mark armstrong, chris scott) and now it’s Chris Scott who flies the Lexicon Avenue flag - scott appears as scott bradford when he does get pulled out!

Mad_Cyril I’m not mate - or at best there’s a small chance I’ll be on at the 30th October event as I am attending that one.

Got some interesting stuff happening after christmas and next spring too and I aim to be on at those.

Along_the_Wire This is on a mix of mine (I think) from ages and ages ago. One fo the first o ever did. I will have to try and dig it out now
