Old-Dutch doubt you’ll regret it Dutchy… takes a while to master though so stick with it… was prob a few months before I could make a decent latte though I didn’t have anyone showing me the ropes

The best thing about Waitrose is you don’t have to put up with any scruffs near you.

Waitrose is my local supermarket. It’s smashing tbf.

Been looking at shit loads of youtube videos plus got my scales ready for my 18g shots for a 36g espresso lol

Millsy It’s a Brexshitter free zone.

Not even the artisan Melton Mowbrays could tempt one in there (too expensive).

I’m partial to a Bargain Booze

bosstrabs Londis, mate. Their frozen pizzas are superb, tons of bread on the base, not much else.

My local Londis has some lovely seasonal microwave bacon right now.

So I’ve just opened my 3rd 500g bag of the Coffee Compass bourbon beans. Absolutely loving the lattes / cappuccinos. Never been an espresso drinker and not sure I ever will be. I’m sure the lattes and cappuccinos are much more forgiving - they must be as I haven’t had a bad one yet.

Going to order in a kilo of the Rave Fudge blend for my next beans

Old-Dutch great stuff eh.. tbh Dutchy I switched to Brighton Lanes (also by Coffee Compass) lately and fck me they’re even nicer beans that Sweet Bourbon… I wasn’t that much of a fan of Rave’s Fudge tbh… if I was going to order elsewhere I’d probably go for the Red Brick (someone talked about them above)

Kettle on, milk in, one teaspoon of Kenco Millicano and I am good to go.

Ah cool will take a look at the Brighton Lanes too - cheers

Out of interest are you drinking them as espresso or latte / cappuccino?

Old-Dutch I like a flat white so prob around ⅕ espresso, rest milk in a smallish cappuccino cup

Nice! Looking forward to trying the beans lads cheers
