Heno Unbroken1 still after getting the DB 4 a few months ago I’m kinda tempted to get a radius 2 I think they look and sound really good
Mad_Cyril Heno You know it makes sense. Can send you some pics of one draped seductively between some Denons if that helps!
Homegrove Yes, the DB4 is now discontinued. I bet lots of shops still have stock though, so if you want one now is the time to buy it.
Unbroken1 Mad_Cyril …cool! love this stuff. Some of the big dub soundsystems have bonkers one-off mixers/pre-amps. Loads of FX and EQ’s but not much in the way of cueing as quite often you only run one deck through them. This kinda thing…
Amps Mad_Cyril Thats boss, if it wasn’t for the transit van in the background you would be scratching your head to guess if it was from some antiquated 60s Russian disco, or some ironic Shoreditch twatfest. The van tells you it’s the latter.
Dubman Unbroken1 Used to do a Reggae night in a pub with my old flat mate who was well into his reggae. We had just one deck and an effects unit. We used a lot of the delay effect when changing records. I went to a reggae festival with him a few years ago and the mighty Saxon sound system was there playing in a tent. We got to take a look at their sound rig. It looked & sounded awesome.
Unbroken1 …seen the Trojan mixer? http://www.dummymag.com/news/trojan-creates-the-worlds-first-double-dj-mixer/ Coleen Cosmo Murphy uses it here:
Unbroken1 Dubman …love watching the reggae soundsystems work, such purists when it comes to sound quality
