Along_the_Wire Millsy just a preference for bigger, mechanical jog wheels, Millsy, I found the RX2 ones to be really quite shit.
Homegrove Agree with Grant here, the digital wheels feel awful. I don’t need big ones like he does, but they need to be mechanical. Sadly no tension adjust in my XDJ700s, but they are mechanical.
Millsy Playing digital music and having to nudge a track a few milliseconds really doesn’t need a full mechanical jog imho. Grant just wants to do spinbacks and crab scratches in his pants, which is basically my idea of a perfect retirement too, so fair play to him.
Along_the_Wire Millsy Playing digital music and having to nudge a track a few milliseconds really doesn’t need a full mechanical jog imho. I’m a new shit-ish DJ and even I notice the difference - digital doesn’t nudge accurately and feels different every time. It was so annoying, I sold the RX2
Millsy Didn’t see you touch the platter once in your live stream below, Grant. Dece EQing/tune selection mind you.
Millsy NasserAlazzawi the built in speakers are supposed to be plum as well, plus the option to plug in monitors and a booth. Looks tasty imo.
NasserAlazzawi Along_the_Wire I have a feeling their new wave of releases have partially been aimed at tackling that - getting designs with chips from suppliers that aren’t bottlenecking the demand. The delays don’t seem to be Pioneer’s fault at all but it’s infuriating everyone I know. I know someone who was asked to supply 30 CDJ-3000s and they called Cyprus from France but then there’s just everything else on top. About 20 items from controllers to CDJs arrived here for sale and were gone in a day.
