They were slow on the streaming front - but there’s much more to the feel of DJing than streaming, and most don’t use it much for real world performances, preferring the reliability of purchases.
I’ve also found a big difference in the reliability of Pioneer hardware over Denon (based on a season last year using Prime 4 six days per week)
Play and cue buttons stopped working from nearly new (you have one job?) and for me and two other djs the Denon would restart itself in front of everyone creating an embarrassing long silence several times per week on purchased tracks (with old and new firmware)
Potential of Prime4 is fantastic but it needs to be reliable every time and my XZ / CDJs etc have simply never done any of this they just always work. For years.
Full sized kit feels nicer to play on as well.
The only Denon I really like is SC6000.
