Turns out this really shouldn’t have been posted online by the dealers who accidentally published the web page. I thought the advert was intentionally today (I even know who this dealer is) and I was asked to take the links out of my post to help the dealer keep out of trouble with Pioneer.
It was already all over the web a couple of hours before I got it anyway, but it will be announced on Tuesday and you get an advanced heads up.

Pioneer DJ has unveiled its latest professional DJ mixing table, the DJM-A9.
This 4-channel mixing table features significant improvements over its predecessor, the DJM-900NXS2, which include superior sound quality, improved playback and connectivity, and a host of new features. Built-in 32-bit A/D converter from ESS technology produces clear, natural audio for all music genres, while the redesigned channel faders and MAGVEL FADER crossfader allow for smoother mixing and scratching. The mixer also includes 14 Beat FX, including 3 new, and an upgraded mic section with a ghost power source and 3 mic effects. The DJM-A9 has two USB ports for perfect DJ transitions and Bluetooth/MD input to play tracks from mobile devices. The Stagehand app allows public service teams to remotely monitor and control functions via an iPad. The DJM-A9 is compatible with both rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro, and will be available in March 2023.
The Pioneer DJM-A9 is a professional DJ mixer designed for use in clubs, studios and live performance environments. It features robust construction quality, high-quality audio components, and a range of advanced features that make it a powerful tool for DJs of all levels.
The DJM-A9 features a new colored display and an improved X-Pad, which is now tuned horizontally for easier use of Beat FX. The Beat FX channel selector has been updated to a dedicated button, allowing for faster effect routing. In addition, the Multi I/O section has been improved to provide true shipping capabilities. With 14 Beat FX to choose from, including three new ones, DJs have a plethora of options to add a creative touch to their sets.
The mic section of the DJ mixing table has also undergone significant improvements, allowing for new possibilities in streaming or MCing. DJs can connect a condenser microphone directly to the DJM-A9, thanks to the phantom power supply to the mic input, which is a novelty in the industry. With three different mic effects and a dedicated reverberation, DJs can dynamically alter the sound of their voice to add an extra layer of creativity to their performances.
One of the key features of the DJM-A9 is its dual USB sound card, which allows two DJs to connect their laptops simultaneously and smoothly switch between them during a set. This function is especially useful for back-to-back sessions or when sharing the stage with another DJ.
Another outstanding feature of the DJM-A9 is its Magvel fader technology, which provides a smooth and accurate response for scratch and crossfade techniques. The blender also comes with a range of effects and built-in filters, including a high/low step filter, echo and reverberation, which can be easily controlled via the blender’s intuitive interface.
In addition to its technical features, the DJM-A9 also features an elegant and stylish design, featuring a black color scheme and silver and illuminated control buttons. The mixer also includes a variety of input and output options, including multiple RCA inputs, XLR and ¼-inch microphone inputs, and master and cabin outlets.
Overall, the Pioneer DJM-A9 is a powerful and versatile mixer that offers a range of advanced functions for professional DJs. Whether you’re an experienced pro or just starting out, the DJM-A9 is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a high-quality mixer for their DJ setup.
Sound Color FX with the world’s first Center Lock
Enable the new Center Lock function and, when you’re using the popular Sound Color FX, each knob will stop spinning when you reach the center position. This means you can turn the dial as fast as you want, taking the effect to the maximum high parameter or at least the low parameter, without the risk of going too far and switching to the opposite parameter. When you disable Center Lock, Sound Color FX knobs work the same way as DJM-900NXS2.
Beat FX coming along way
The Beat FX section, a long-time favorite element of the DJM series, has been significantly improved for the DJM-A9. A new colored screen helps you quickly and accurately understand the state of the selected effect, and features lighting that corresponds to the X-Pad’s horizontal layout, allowing for more intuitive control with a simple finger swipe. You can use the X-Pad to change the Echo and Ping Pong effects to create a unique analog tape sound. And, within the total 14 Beat FX, there are 3 new ones you can use to add extra variation to your interpretations:
• Mobius: changes the frequency of the oscillator to constantly rise or fall to the rhythm’s compass.
• Triplet filter: change the cut frequency cyclically for the filter by time (based on 3 strokes).
• Triplet Roll: Repeatedly plays recorded sound according to the specified fraction of time (based on 3 strokes).
Even better, the Channel Selector is now a dedicated button, allowing you to quickly apply effects to your chosen channel.
