A friend of mine played last at the Orkidea-party back in December, and borrowed my ATH 50s. He must be near deaf because now they distort a bit. He must’ve put them on 11. Released in 1991, and still in use in many studios, and by a few DJs (Burridge comes to mind), and no wonder. They sound really good, and pack a punch, especially for 100 €. I also won’t be too heartbroken to lose them, or break them drunk with that price.
