Separately, have had the Radius and the Valve. I think both colour the sound slightly. Not in a bad way, but definitely less natural.
Is noticeable around the low end most. But I don’t have the technical knowledge to articulate it.
The best example I can give is that the difference between the Mastersounds Mixers and the Resor islike the difference between Beats by Dr Dre and the Bose Quiet Comfort. One sounds slightly pumped lower down, the other sounds completely natural.
Appreciate this is subjective, but my preference is for the latter.
I have to listen to the bass a lot harder on the Resor than on either Mastersounds. Summing is superior too.
They’re both great mixers, just comes down to preference I guess.
My clumsy take is that the Mastersounds mixers aren’t quite the audiophile products they were made out to be.
