Dear Bedrockers,

I wanted to give you an honest update on the Quattro II release and why it was delayed.

The slipcases that had been numbered had been sent by Fedex to the UK for myself to sign. They have been a nightmare to deal with and we weren’t getting any answers on why the box hadn’t been delivered, it came to a crunch point where we realised that they had been lost. Working with a shorter time factor and the logistics involved of reprinting them, sending to me again, signing them and then sending back to get them shrink wrapped and then finally sent to the distribution company, we had no choice but to make the decision to print my signature on to the CD slipcase, to save weeks of delay on this release.

This project was going so smoothly up to this point and with not travelling at the moment, I had more time than ever before to sign these CD slipcases, so it’s annoying that having personally signed so many of the Bedrock cd’s in the past, I wasn’t able to do this one. I hope you understand that this situation was totally out of my control and hope that it will not spoil your enjoyment of this fantastic album.

This only impacts the Quattro II CD. If you have ordered a signed Vinyl, this will still be hand signed as I managed to get these signed already.

Thank you for your understanding and we hope you enjoy the album once you receive it.

So he can bothered to take the money but can’t be arsed to sign them again.

If it was about time, then why didn’t he just send them out with normal slip cases and then send out new slip cases to those that paid at a later date.

Not like he’s got anything else to do other than Saturday and he’s just had a month off.

Even Sasha sent out new labels when they stuck them on the back of the wrapper rather than the box itself.

Weren’t the signed copies more expensive too? I can’t remember, but yeah, lame. If they do turn up in the end, I hope he’ll at least offer to send them out to the people that requested them.

It’s a pretty trivial inconvenience all things considered.

I’m awarding this issue Zero Fucks

Can’t remember the last time a Bedrock release went smoothly.

Last issue I remember was digital rights to some of the tracks on Montreal. Which were CD only. That was in 2017. And not really anything you can work around.

Digweed is a money grabbing charlatan! I, for one, am never downloading another illegally copied bunker set again.

Yeah, they were more expensive, although from a customer perspective it’s less about the money out my pocket and more that he’s taken the easy way out and maximises the return into his.

Matty Well, the money part is important to me 😂 If I paid more for something that’s signed, and you can’t deliver that, then only charge me for the non-signed price.

Should’ve ordered the vinyl, Matty and none of this would’ve mattered. As it is, it simply doesn’t really matter, does it? If you were hoping to sell these limited edition signed copies for hundreds of pounds in twenty time, I’ve got news for you…

        Kells77 Exactly.

Also, who gives a shit if something is signed or not? Do autographs have a sell on value anymore?

Yeah, I agree, my point though is that I’m less bothered about the £5 it’s cost me, more than Digweed chooses to pocket that x 1000 rather than do the right thing by his fans.

That on top of the Mixcloud select shambles

Ha. My cunning plan to get Rich quick has been foiled again. Next year we’ll be millionaires though.

          What shambles?
