I will be getting a loaf of breakfast in Leeds on my next trip. Already booked this in with my brother in law. I’m beyond excited .

Chips butty or crisps butty absolutely requires such white bread

I thought it came on some nice thick sourdough, not some nasty Wonder Bread.

Chips butty or crisps butty on sourdough just doesn’t work. Tried it. The bread is too firm.

It has to be soft white, holds the butter and shards of crisp perfectly; sourdough just makes a chewy mess that (in terms of texture) feels like trying to eat a Mars bar after 5 pills.

Pickled onion monster munch on some extra thick Warburtons would be absolutely tremenballs.

Exactly, if you use tough chewy bread the crisps would be crushed when you bite into it.Come on Zak.

Not surprising that an Irish restaurant launched around a potato sarnie.

Old-Dutch Lol, Zack is a culinary heathen.

The only man I know who has asparagus in a spag bowl.

Cheap white bread on a chip butty is the only way to go. In fact the more e-numbers the better.

Dan we’ve got a local like that as well. Bless her
