NasserAlazzawi very few tracks grow on me. If I like something, I like it. If I don’t, I don’t. In terms of listening to the album as a whole, if it’s full of tracks that just sound like noise to me, it doesn’t matter how well it’s been put together and mixed, it’s still a collection of noise.
Five for Friday
ScottBailey sounds like a Metallica album

Nah, not on a campaign to bash every Quattro, but after hearing some quality ID’s in John’s sets recently I was hoping some would pop up on here.

Label showcases are somewhat constrained, unless you live everything they do.
Which is in itself, somewhat constrained

Found a throwback today. I was surprised to hear of Digweed and Marco Bailey working together as their styles never seemed to cross over when I heard them separately - but I’d lose my nut if I ever managed to catch this in a club.
Been struggling with Vocals (even with music that I chart) sometimes wishing I could get a track without them in… but liking this one today.
NasserAlazzawi there were vocals/raps on everything you charted the other day. Could have been the soundtrack in Superdry
How to ruin a thread by Naz…
@NasserAlazzawi You should be posting these in the ‘What are you listening to at the moment’ thread.
alistair yeah, I liked the vocals on the 1st and 3rd personally, but the 2nd one was the one with that rapping voice.
The 1st track reminds me of the vocals that Cristoph sometimes has with the likes of Jem Cooke. And I’m usually a sucker for tribal chants like the 3rd, would have been better on my ears if they were less bright.
NasserAlazzawi Drake influenced

Will be skipping this week too as I gave gigs tonight and tomorrow. No time to check out what’s out today that well. Ok Ok! from Tal Fussman’s new EP on Exit Strategy will get played tomorrow for sure though.
I’m behaving myself today.
