SM001 segwin I wouldn’t call it ‘eclectic’ for starters. It’s straight up breaks or stuff you can find on his LUZoSCURA playlist on Spotify.
ScottBailey segwin Papua New Guinea probably a good example. He was one of the few who would drop breaks tracks intermittently to make his set different to all the others. ‘I Trance You’ probably another good example. Can’t think of many other DJ’s who championed Guerilla Records more than he did back in the day. At least back then it was a mixture of stuff.
segwin alistair Interesting, both sets that I listed trump the Orchard in my honest opinion. @SM001 I am familiar with the LUZoSCURA playlist as I admin/mirror the Apple Music version of it. Interested in some of the breaks that Sasha would play out back in the 90s/2000s if you can share.
alistair segwin boiler room is a classic. One only has to go skin deep into a Sasha back catalogue convo before you conclude how good it is. Kleinenberg lol
Kells77 segwin I have an Annie on One mix from 2003 with Sasha & Zabiela, which is a breaks mix that’s about an hour long. I can put it up on WeTransfer if anyone’s interested?
sbando There’s a LUZoSCURA compilation in the works, is that correct? The orchard set was brilliant, imho.
segwin alistair Agreed. Ugly Kid Jay - Major North Annihilate was thrown down at The Brooklyn Mirage about a year ago from today. EDIT: Place went completely berserk.
LT42 LNOE 50 and the 6Mix thing he did are both quality, he still has it, that’s why everyone on here still listens just in case, despite the flak
Heno LT42 excatly, can be so hit and miss but when he was on form years ago he was top banana your not a sasha fan till he’s done a no show
zackster that video of him playing the grave yard was something else. good god. some of those tunes were beyond cringe.
