Just got myself up to speed with Redskins news on The Athletic and the WP. Once again, I find myself feeling stupidly optimistic about the season ahead. The worst bit is that everyone in the NFC East feels the same - something’s got to give. I do think the NFC East will be a force to be reckoned with this season after the mess it was last.

I’m so gutted about this season and the fucking virus - looking at the schedule, there are a few great weekends I could’ve flown over for - I’d planned to do that as part of my 50th celebrations in December. All in the fucking bin.

Washington in Redskins name change shocker.

What makes me laugh is that it really should be changed, it doesn’t matter, but Snyder held onto it for such a ridiculous amount of time until sponsors told him they’re yanking money. Snyder should think of the retail margin. The cunt.

    Looks like IF a season is to happen you will have to sign a waiver to attend a game. Perfect.

      Redskins name and logo are retired. Shame it took the money to change Snyder’s mind, but it’s good to move on from this debacle.

              How come? I know a Lions fan here in the UK - he can’t answer that question. As bad as the Washington team have been, at least they’ve won a few Super Bowls and two of them I’ve seen live on tele.
