alistair Dan a man after my own heart. Harvey > Dixon all day long. Actually one of the few DJs my wife would come out of clubbing retirement to see
LT42 Dan there’s footage of Alistair hoovering poppers and rushing the stage with his top off for this, I just need to find it
Millsy That Samim Heater track with the accordions was a pearler from the mnml years. Gypo haus was thankfully short lived.
bosstrabs Millsy That Samim Heater track with the accordions was a pearler from the mnml years. Gypo haus was thankfully short lived. Oh my days, what a hideous track that was. Appalling.
Mad_Cyril Millsy Millsy That Samim Heater track with the accordions was a pearler from the mnml years. Gypo haus was Goes well with Cotton-eye Joe
Millsy Lol. Harvey dropping his Heart FM playlist minidisc into the player and walking off stage to glitter bombs.
bosstrabs Also, around the same time, Detroit Grand Pubahs - Sandwiches. Dropped by almost every ‘Bugged Out’ dj. Sometimes twice in a set by cunts like Dave Clarke.
Millsy I still absolutely hate Lazy by xpress2 with a passion. But also have it on vinyl filed under ‘Bandwagon cunt’
PDJ Millsy A terrace bar has been open near to my place all summer - they’ve finished with that EVERY.SINGLE.NIGHT. Never liked it but now utterly detest it after hearing it played from a distance nightly at c.23:00.
Smallman1 Saw Tongy play Samim’s Heater at SW4. Looking at him you would have thought he’d dropped Knights of the Jaguar.
hugopal bosstrabs remember some shocking garage tracks being incongruously dropped into sets, stuff like Double 99 - RIP Groove and so on In general I’m faaar from a UK Garage or Speed Garage fan, but I still consider RIP Groove to be a quality tune (a rarity from the genres).
