jut a reminder that both are on London

Lol good god DT fucking sucks.

Smallman1 Holden’s Balance was released 19 years ago mate. Not really seeing the connection to going out these days.

He’s going to see Fat Boy Slim at Wembly.

DT going from the Klubheadz remix of Burning to the Humate remix of Ruhe…. How has he not been resoundingly cancelled for this?!

      My next two nights out?

Perel at the Orange Yard followed by Dixon at Printworks.

This is Ed ‘Finger on the pulse’ Smallman signing out.

The unmistakable sound of a Mrs Brown’s Boys boxset eminating from Smallsys roofless flat.

      Clueless.

More like the sounds of Splash Bar Foam Party Disc 2.

Jesus Christ that Tenaglia TL has sent me reeling.

        When everyone zigs, Smallman1 zags!

What an awful individual, musically and literally.

Millsy What an awful individual, musically and literally.

          Fucking lol!

Zack having a stormer, clearly upped his game as a result of his recent bollockings off me.

If anyone can produce a copy of the flyer for DT’s Boo Yourself Halloween party at Arc, you will be forever counted as a gentleman and a ledge in my books. It is my own personal Seb Piss Pants advert. I have scoured the internet for it, and have had zero success.

It’s September 11 2001, the second plane has hit The World Trade Center

It’s September 18, 2000, Ed and Dazzler have just walked into The Lime Light. The Klubheadz Remix of Burning comes on. Their tops come off.

Darren wearing a hi-vis vest with ‘Costain’ written on the back as ’that’s what ravers do, innit’.

Ed: What yah got there Daz?
          Darren: Poppers

Lol, behave, you know the answer!

I’ve probably said similar on here before, but overall I prefer Disc 2 of Hong Kong to Disc 1.

Even though Disc 1 has some better individual tracks (Tribe & Trance, Baguio Track, Cevin Fisher etc.), it jumps about a bit too much, and the last two tracks don’t really do it for me.

Disc 2 though is completely hypnotic and expertly put together. It’s so good that I can almost forgive Diggers for not including the original mix of Stoneproof.

Dan Yeah…love the fact that in the age of turbo powered cheese it’s pitched down and melodic.

Steely checking in on the thread

Worry not Hugo, original content is not mandatory in this thread.

To prove it, and hopefully put you at ease, I’m voting for hour 2 of

I love the fact Zachster has gone through this thread again with a fine-tooth comb.

hugopal I was going to put this in the Controversial Prog Takes thread. CD2
has got great tunes, but the mixing is average to poor in places and jumps about far more than CD1 (which not only has outstanding mixing, but also a great flow).

BlainSA And when did you suffer the blunt force trauma to the head that has clearly messed with your musical tastes?

Wally the music is excellent bar Pob - Glide. The flow and mix not so much.

mono-stereo It’s beatmatched but that’s not what I’m getting at.

CD1 is well above CD2 for its layering and flow.

BlainSA are you sure you’re not getting your memory in a muddle?

Disc 2 of HK probably has the smoothest flow of any GU Disc.

hugopal Ooh, now that should be in the Controversial Prog Takes for sure, Hugo

I’m with Hugo - I think people are just wanking over the mix from Music saved my life to Useless.

CD2 is clearly the better flow with Diggers ’Pulls off dangerous track combinations with a rally driver’s cool’
