Darren wearing a hi-vis vest with ‘Costain’ written on the back as ’that’s what ravers do, innit’.

Ed: What yah got there Daz?
Darren: Poppers

Lol, behave, you know the answer!

I’ve probably said similar on here before, but overall I prefer Disc 2 of Hong Kong to Disc 1.

Even though Disc 1 has some better individual tracks (Tribe & Trance, Baguio Track, Cevin Fisher etc.), it jumps about a bit too much, and the last two tracks don’t really do it for me.

Disc 2 though is completely hypnotic and expertly put together. It’s so good that I can almost forgive Diggers for not including the original mix of Stoneproof.

Dan Yeah…love the fact that in the age of turbo powered cheese it’s pitched down and melodic.

Steely checking in on the thread

Worry not Hugo, original content is not mandatory in this thread.

To prove it, and hopefully put you at ease, I’m voting for hour 2 of

I love the fact Zachster has gone through this thread again with a fine-tooth comb.

hugopal I was going to put this in the Controversial Prog Takes thread. CD2
has got great tunes, but the mixing is average to poor in places and jumps about far more than CD1 (which not only has outstanding mixing, but also a great flow).

BlainSA And when did you suffer the blunt force trauma to the head that has clearly messed with your musical tastes?

Wally the music is excellent bar Pob - Glide. The flow and mix not so much.

mono-stereo It’s beatmatched but that’s not what I’m getting at.

CD1 is well above CD2 for its layering and flow.

BlainSA are you sure you’re not getting your memory in a muddle?

Disc 2 of HK probably has the smoothest flow of any GU Disc.

hugopal Ooh, now that should be in the Controversial Prog Takes for sure, Hugo

I’m with Hugo - I think people are just wanking over the mix from Music saved my life to Useless.

CD2 is clearly the better flow with Diggers ’Pulls off dangerous track combinations with a rally driver’s cool’

Best mixing/programming of any two tracks is definitely on CD2.

CD2 of Sasha #013 that is!

‘Bluefish - One’ into ‘BT - Mercury & Solace’ has never been bettered in my opinion.
