Ouch…you guys are brutal to poor Lee 😂 I will agree that there’s some samey-ness to some of his stuff, but every SINGLE time I’ve seen him live, he has me dancing and smiling the entire time. I don’t do the Burn myself, and he DOES have a flock of ‘interesting’ people around him these days, but the stuff he plays makes me feel happy. As someone mentioned, it’s no Digweed vortex, but it’s good for me. I’ll take care to recommend any of his sets coming up though, damn. lol

Nobody trash talks the world of merciless trance and lives to tell the tale though, SM!

Kells77 Ouch…you guys are brutal to poor Lee

For me it’s just frustration and nostalgia. He used to be so good at throwing all sorts of things together and having it make sense. Going from Halo to Hybrid with just one track in between. Not that anymore. For the style of house he’s going for, I’d rather listen to Unbroken’s sets.

        Smallman1

Still lovin’ track 5 on this - the same on the UWS thingamabob…

Jules72 While we are at it, more generally ive not been very impressed with the quality of the music in sets I’ve heard the last few months….house music in a rut?

        Are you fucking serious mate?

For the record,i don`t mind a fair bit of the Anjuna stuff.Flame away if you must.

Have noticed you post a lot of Anjuna tracks. I did buy a lot of their stuff a few years ago. But not anymore.

strummer Excellent stuff from Anjunadeep until the recent years. Even Jody’s artist album was generic deep house.

Anjunadeep release a lot of stuff. Not all of it is good but they do have a propensity to discover new artists and producers. Marsh 1992, Dosem Extraction, Nox Vahn Come Together. The Rodriguez Jr Phoenix/Amargosa EP last year was class. I am also partial to some of the stuff that Yotto and Luttrell release. They also brought Dusky to everyones attention
