Along_the_Wire Just read that the Spotify owner is using profits to fund drone production for Russia
Millsy well that’s very offside…. Will talk to the Mills family forthwith!
Amps Just a note here for when people have a go at me for posting my lefty bilge: this info broke some months back, I’m always amazed when people haven’t heard about it.
What’s your source for your statement @Along_the_Wire?
Daniel Ek has invested in Helsing - who supply military drones for Ukraine to defend itself (from Russia).
"Spotify founder Daniel Ek’s investment company is leading a €600mn funding round in Helsing, valuing the German defence tech group at €12bn and making it one of Europe’s most valuable start-ups
Helsing has sold thousands of strike drones, produced in its facility in southern Germany, to Ukraine"

Massive Attack are plonkers who share Amps’ politics. While they say they don’t want their music to support military technology, if you’re someone who supports Ukraine’s right to self-defence it’s a strange objection to make.
