Smallman1 apparently the best for gut health is a new drink called ‘Primula’. It’s a bit thicker than actimel, so best to just buy a tube of it and smash it right back, maybe gargle it a bit too.

Best of luck.

Actimel, Coke Zero and Nugenix.

Or winning as I like to call it.

I do like to make my own kimchi and sauerkraut, and knowing that does good things for my gut health is a bonus.

Old Speckled Hen and a ruby are my go to for a cleansing gut clear out.

Millsy Guinness seems to do the trick for me

Ironically Guiness is one of the few alcoholic drinks that doesnt fuck me over.

      Millsy

Lol - saw him the other day going into Wetherspoons on the High Street. Or winning as I like to call it.

      Millsy

Millsy lol. The Wealsden Raider diet.

😆 I’ve only just realised who that is. If spitting image were making puppets that would be Smalls.

It’s actually Wealdstone Raider, or my mate Gordon.

Smallman1 Should I continue to drink a daily Actimel?

Seems a bit weird that as someone with a supposedly deadly cheese allergy you’d regularly consume a probiotic where 2/3rds of its contained bacteria strains are two of the most common ones used to ripen many cheeses.

I’d love to learn the exact details of Edwands deadly cheese allergy. Just for the spread sheet.

Well it’s been about 3 weeks since I stopped eating gluten and my stomach has been so much better. The biggest thing is buying food without any wheat. Gluten free Bread is ok but the pasta is not that great. Most breakfast cereals are are off. So I have porridge oats with dried fruit & seeds. No more Pork pies with English mustard & most chocolate. Today I started making my gluten free Christmas Cake which Will be fed with brandy every few weeks. Just hope it’s as good as per usual.

Dubman I’ve been back up north recently and heard the dietary habits of a typical northerner, 2 pies a day apparently!

Glad to hear you are feeling better from removing gluten 👍

I’ll try that next time I go shopping. The penne pasta I bought just seemed to break apart once cooked

Hursty I’ve been back up north recently and heard the dietary habits of a typical northerner, 2 pies a day apparently

          That’s very typical 🙄

Just signed up for my first 50 km race next september. Not sure if I’m more excited or terrified. 😅
