alistair that’s very old fashioned of you Al! I thought his public statement was strange and hugely self serving (she was chasing me vibe). One off historical sex abuse (not serial abusers) cases are almost impossible to prove to the criminal standard because there is rarely any corroborating evidence although some do come to trial here. A small minority of complainants do fabricate allegations. She will undoubtedly have every aspect of her character and motivation scrutinised during the Spanish proceedings - horrible business.
