The Netherlands are regressing in the past decade and a half if not past two decades. Once a liberal country concerning drugs, now even coffeeshops have been cut in most places and fucking US of A has gone ahead and legalized cannabis for years.

Stuff like MDMA, Psylocibin, Cannabis.. it should all just be legalized so everyone who uses at least gets assurance of dosage and purity of product.. just pick it up at the pharmacy.

I can’t stand the hypocrisy of alcohol being so normalized and “ok” to use “responsibly” (rarely anyone does.. lol) but oh Noooo, not the fecking filthy Droegz!!

Dubman In Dublin around 93 the only pills available were Doves and I bet 100% of the dealers sold every one they had because they were fucking superb. I know it was early days but there seemed to be no real comedown from them either, they were super clean.

Along_the_Wire Gatecrasher Millennium and some ’crasher kids driving to the stadium had a crappy handwritten cardboard sign in the back window of their Renault 5 - MITSUBISHI TURBO GURNERS. There were ones with speckles at the time that were largely lauded as being heroin/scag . Round our neck of the woods it was doves, Dennis the menace, rhubarb and custards, New Yorkers, then Mitzi’s. There were ones in 92 called M25’s that you were supposed to break in half but fuckers didn’t and lots cockled it on them. I remember going to a club called Kinetic in Stoke and people were dropping like flies on them.

Mitsis were my era. It wasn’t the Mitsis IIRC, it was the slew of fakes and ultra-strong ones that followed.

The popularity had gone stratospheric - even Mixmag had a Mitsi cover at one point.

Everyone wanted Mitsis so any old shit was just being stamped as a Mitsi and people would buy it.

As for brown in pills - I always felt this was a long-running urban myth (what would be the point of cutting with something that was valuable and could be sold in its own right?)

Also, Kinetic was one of the first clubs I ever went to. Around 97. Some lad’s birthday I vaguely knew, everyone piled down on a coach. It was absolutely grim as fuck, proper mental happy hardcore nonsense with real nasty looking Stoke/Derby/Wolves lads everywhere.
