I agree. Most of his best sets are or were 2 to 3 hrs. Or 2 x C90’s as it was known
Sasha @ Ministry 12th Nov
Cankles-McJeggings his Sunday afternoon sets at Fabric seem popular. Think he has to realise his “crowd” are now too old to go out all night now.

They just need to take a couple of spare piss bags.
Cankles-McJeggings and zimmer frames, cup of horlicks on the way out
There’s a Rennaisance night here in Brum in a couple of weeks with Sasha, Maceo Plex and Dusky….3500 capacity…..unlikely I’ll be going but the Jeff Mills, Rodhed night got mysteriously cancelled last week.
Cankles-McJeggings He changes his USB drives twice a year….same old sets. Too many decent fresh Jocks coming through nowadays.

I can’t really speak for new djs because I dont air them enough. What I do know though is Sasha is playing boring as fuck uninspiring music that I don’t believe for a minute he likes. Been saying it for years too. His best sets are when you know he likes it. Like the first Luzo ones and the 6 mix.
He’s not even playing the best that’s available of the genres he’s playing anymore. Something you could always bet your life on. I don’t listen to his sets but I’ll check the tracks out from tracklists to see. I honestly am struggling to remember the last track I pilfered from him.
I still like the Glastonbury-set.
Cankles-McJeggings not disagreeing with your point , but why would he play music he doesn’t like? I know djs say they play ‘what they crowd want’ but I’ve never believed that
At least he’s bothered to cancel rather than just a no show. Calm down ladies.
Have applied for a refund.
Cheers!
Invite en route!
Last time I saw Sasha at MoS, he turned up unannounced at a Bedrock night and went B2B with Diggers.
I guess that’s how he rolls, turns up when not expected and no show when expected
Coz he’s just going through the motions. Phoning it in as they say. Earning a living. Playing places he has no interest in and looking forward to the places he does, which lets face it doesn’t look often.
That’s my belief anyway. The passion is dead. Each to their own what they see and believe, I’m all good with whatever. That’s just how I see it.
